Does the Library offer wifi?

Yes! The library is pleased to offer wireless Internet access to our patrons. Simply bring your device to the library, click wi-fi settings, and connect to LIBPublic. Password not required. Wireless users agree to abide by the “Wireless Internet Access Policy.” Copies of the policy are available at the Circulation Desk.

How do I obtain a Library Card?

Free library cards are available to all!

To obtain a library card:

Visit the Viney Jones Community Library.
Bring a valid picture I.D.
If you are age 14 or younger, your parent or guardian must be present and provide identification.

How many materials can I check out and how long can I keep them?

After those materials are returned, patrons may borrow up to twenty (20) items at one time.

Books 20 items
Audio 5 items
DVDs 4 items
Video Games 2 items

Items may be kept for the following lengths of time:
Books 3 weeks
Audio 3 weeks
DVDs 1 week
Video Games 3 weeks

Returning and renewing books

For your convenience, a book drop is available for the return of library materials during the hours the library is closed. Prompt return of library materials ensures for everyone better access.

We do not charge fees for overdue items, but those who do not return library items promptly may find their privileges limited. Renewal of your library materials can be done as long as the materials you are renewing haven’t been requested by another patron. You may bring your materials into the library for renewal; call the automated renewal line at 520-866-6032; or sign into your account.
